Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud will look to find a new club if Arsene Wenger decides to bring in more strikers this summer, according to reports.
Although the France international has played 29 Premier League matches this season only 11 of those have been starts and that’s despite a good return of 12 goals in those appearances.
Giroud has played second fiddle to Alexis Sanchez all campaign and, at 30, there are rumours that he will be looking for more time out on the pitch.
The Daily Mirror claims that he will consider quitting if the Gunners look to rearrange their strikeforce again as he wants to make the France squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Marseille, who could have an active summer in the transfer market, are reported to be the main option for Giroud if he wanted to leave the Emirates Stadium with the Ligue 1 side able to pay £20million for his services.
However, the future of Sanchez is still up in the air and if the Chilean left then it could give Giroud a chance to stake a claim for a regular starting spot.
